Bishkek and Jalal-Abad Lead in Attracting Foreign Direct Investment in Kyrgyzstan

- According to official statistics, from January to September 2025, the volume of attracted foreign direct investments (FDI) in the Kyrgyz Republic amounted to $885 million 018.8 thousand.

The most significant portion of these investments was directed to the capital of the country, Bishkek, where $339 million 617.4 thousand was attracted, which is a notable share of the total volume.

Among the regions, the Jalal-Abad region ranked first in attracting FDI with $157 million 618.6 thousand, followed by the Chui region with a result of $129 million 453.2 thousand. The Talas region also showed good results, receiving $135 million 542 thousand during the specified period.

In the Osh region, the amount of attracted investments was $30 million 759.7 thousand, in the Naryn region — $45 million 406.2 thousand, and in the Batken region — $40 million 097.3 thousand.

The smallest volumes of foreign investments were recorded in the Issyk-Kul region — only $5 million 313.6 thousand, and in the city of Osh, where the amount was $1 million 210.8 thousand.
