- In 2025, the republican budget was replenished by 5.8 billion soms due to fees for vehicle registration, as stated in the Ministry of Finance's report on the implementation of state financial plans.

A fee of 5% is charged for vehicle registration, and 0.3% of the established tariff value is charged for re-registration. The increase in revenues is likely related to the campaign for the legalization of foreign vehicles conducted from April to September.

The fee for the legalization of foreign vehicles was set at 50,000 soms for cars with an engine capacity of up to two liters and 100,000 soms for cars with an engine capacity of more than two liters. A total of about 30,000 passenger cars were legalized.
