According to the ministry's information, the transfer of equipment was made possible thanks to the support of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). As part of this project, 43 units of road construction and road maintenance equipment were delivered to the Batken region. An asphalt concrete plant with a capacity of 35 tons per hour was also installed in the Batken district.
High-ranking officials participated in the equipment handover ceremony, including the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan to the Kyrgyz Republic, Hirano Ryuichi, the Permanent Representative of JICA in the Kyrgyz Republic, Nishigato Kotaro, the First Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications, Beknazar Bazaraliev, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Batken region, Aibek Shamenov, as well as representatives of local authorities.
