In 2025, according to the directive of the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic, at least 10 charging stations were successfully installed across the country, confirming the full implementation of this plan. This was reported by Kanat Askeev, Deputy General Director of JSC "Chakan HPP," in an interview on the radio.

Askeev also noted that further expansion of the charging station network is planned for 2026. The creation of 10 new locations is anticipated, where 2-3 charging devices will be installed, depending on the size of the areas.

“It is important to understand that we are talking not just about 10 separate stations, but about 10 locations where there will be several charging devices,” he clarified.

Potential locations for the installation of new stations include the city of Balakchy, the villages of Bokombaev and Tyup, as well as the resorts of Karakol and Cholpon-Ata. Work is also being carried out in the Naryn region, in addition to the Issyk-Kul region.

As a result of the previous year, the company has already installed four charging stations in Karakol and the Tyup district. As part of new initiatives, it is planned to install about 20 charging stations in total.
