Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank to Allocate $50 Million for "Green" Loans for Small and Medium Enterprises

On February 12, an agreement was signed in Bishkek between the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank. According to information provided by the press service of the Ministry of Finance, the amount of the concessional loan will be $50 million, which will be directed to the State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.

It is reported that these funds are intended to support micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises engaged in the implementation of "green" and resource-saving projects. Such initiatives include:



The Ministry noted that the implementation of this project will attract more investments in sustainable initiatives of small and medium-sized enterprises, enhance technology levels, improve the competitiveness of local businesses, and create new jobs.
