According to the Cabinet's decision:
1. From March 1, 2026, a temporary ban on the import of fruit and berry varieties into Kyrgyzstan will be introduced for a period of six months. The ban does not apply to goods originating from the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, as well as to the transit of seedlings through the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
2. The Ministry of Economy and Commerce has been instructed to notify the Committee on Safeguard Measures of the World Trade Organization and the Eurasian Economic Commission about the introduction of this ban.
3. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs must notify the Executive Committee of the CIS about the new temporary ban within three days.
4. The State Customs Service and the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry must take measures to prevent the illegal import of seedlings, except for those specified in the annex.
5. The resolution dated July 2, 2024, No. 346, regarding temporary restrictions on the import of fruit and berry crops is recognized as invalid.
6. Control over the implementation of the resolution is entrusted to the Department of Control over the Execution of Decisions of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
7. This resolution must be officially published and comes into effect on March 1, 2026.
