In 2026, the State Enterprise "Kyrgyzpharmacy" will purchase medicines and medical devices according to the list approved by the Ministry of Health. This year, part of the purchases will be made through UN organizations, which will allow for the procurement of about 30 product names directly from manufacturers.
This new model aims to eliminate intermediaries, ensuring that products meet international quality standards, including WHO requalification, as well as creating competitive prices through participation in global procurement. Currently, preparations are underway for signing contracts, and preliminary calculations show that the expected savings of budget funds may amount to about 410 million soms compared to the previous year.
The procurement strategy for 2026 will focus on reducing prices for medicines, ensuring their quality and stability of supply, as well as more efficient use of public resources.
