In Bishkek, on February 21, around 06:00, strong winds caused the collapse of a temporary fence at the construction site of a 14-story residential building located at 5/1 Tynalieva Street in the Jal microdistrict. As a result of the incident, the sidewalk was blocked.
Employees of the Department of State Architectural and Construction Control of the Ministry of Construction quickly arrived at the scene and took necessary actions.
Inspection revealed that not all safety regulations were followed at the construction site. Due to the identified violations, the company OsOO "Jaz Stroy," which is carrying out the work, was fined 200,000 soms.
The temporary fence was restored, and the contracting organization was issued a directive requiring them to rectify the deficiencies within one day to bring the fence in line with regulations.
The Ministry of Construction is conducting inspections regarding the collapse of fences at other construction sites caused by adverse weather conditions and non-compliance with safety rules. Appropriate measures will be taken based on the results of these inspections in accordance with current legislation.
To ensure the safety of citizens, all construction sites are under constant supervision.
