During the meeting, the ministers discussed important areas of Kyrgyz-Swiss interaction, including issues of political dialogue and economic partnership. The implementation of the Cooperation Program for 2026–2029 and collaboration within international organizations was also addressed.
Kulubaev congratulated the Swiss side on its upcoming chairmanship in the OSCE in 2026 and expressed readiness for productive cooperation within this organization. The ministers noted positive changes in bilateral relations and emphasized the need to activate high-level contacts.
Special attention was given to the development of trade and economic ties, attracting foreign investments, as well as cooperation in tourism and the implementation of joint initiatives. At the end of the meeting, there was an exchange of views on sustainable mountain development and current international issues. Following the negotiations, the parties expressed mutual interest in strengthening the partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Switzerland, as well as continuing constructive dialogue, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
