
Chyngyz Azhibaev, the first deputy speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, according to Kaktus.media, has submitted a statement resigning from his deputy powers.
Azhibaev was elected to the parliament of the VIII convocation, representing district No. 1, and held the position of first deputy speaker.
If the information is confirmed, his seat may be taken by Isayev Abdikasytt Abdullakimovich, who previously worked as the deputy akim of the Leilek district.
The Central Election Commission also reported that no official statement from Azhibaev has been received yet, and if it appears, the document will be reviewed in accordance with the established procedure.
