According to the ministry, at the final meeting, the draft agreement was agreed upon at a fundamental level.
The signing of the final document will occur after the completion of all necessary internal procedures provided for by the legislation of both countries, the Ministry of Economy clarified.
The ministry noted that the agreement is aimed at protecting the residents of one of the countries from discriminatory taxation on the territory of the other contracting party. It also includes measures to prevent tax evasion and abuse of its provisions, as well as to develop information exchange between the competent authorities of Kyrgyzstan and Romania.
