Kyrgyzstan and South Korea Establish Joint Climate Committee

The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic has approved the composition of its delegation to the Joint Committee, which will work on climate change issues with the Republic of Korea. The order was signed by Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev on January 23, 2026.

The establishment of the committee became possible thanks to the agreement on climate cooperation between the two states, signed in 2024. The Secretariat of this body has been designated as the Climate Finance Center, which operates under the Cabinet of Ministers. All relevant ministries and agencies are required to provide support in the committee's activities.
