The initial examination of the animal did not reveal any visible injuries, and its condition is assessed as satisfactory.
“Considering the possible stress, the animal will be under the supervision of specialists. A detailed examination is scheduled in the near future, and if the results are positive, the snow leopard will be released back into the wild,” the statement added.
This snow leopard was discovered on the property of a resident of the village of Boroldoy in the Kemin district on the night of December 30. It was captured and handed over to representatives of the Ministry of Natural Resources.
