On January 30, a meeting of the National Accreditation Council took place with the participation of Deputy Minister of Education Albert Makmetkulov.

According to information provided by the ministry's press service, a decision was made to suspend the accreditation of the agency "Bilim Standart" for a period of 6 months. This decision is due to the fact that previously identified serious violations in its work have not been rectified, and some obligations specified by the National Accreditation Council have not been fulfilled.

During the meeting, reports from six accreditation agencies listed in the ministry's registry for the year 2025 were also reviewed, and recommendations based on these reports were discussed.

During the discussion of the results of the NAC's work for 2025, emphasis was placed on the necessity of strict adherence to accreditation procedures by both accreditation agencies and educational institutions. Issues related to preventing conflicts of interest and combating illegal actions were also raised.

In addition, plans were reported for improving accreditation activities, which include amendments to existing regulatory legal acts.
