The Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that currently, traffic on the country's roads and passes is being conducted without any restrictions.
In particular, on the Bishkek-Osh highway, including the Too-Ashu and Ala-Bel passes, as well as on the Taraz-Talas-Suusamyr road with the Otmok pass, traffic is free. A similar situation is observed on the Osh-Sary-Tash-Erketcham highway with the Ton-Murun pass, as well as on the Bishkek-Naryn-Torugart route, where the Dolon and Tuz-Bel passes are open, and on the Tyup-Kegen route.
In addition, contracting organizations regularly carry out work to clear the roadway of snow and widen the shoulders on the sections of the roads they service.
It is also emphasized that the road maintenance services of the Ministry of Transport operate around the clock, performing replenishment with inert materials to combat ice and clearing the highways of snow drifts.
