Construction of 20 new schools has begun in Bishkek

The Ministry of Construction has begun the construction of 20 new schools in Bishkek and has also published a list of locations for these educational institutions. Six facilities will be built in the Oktobrskiy district, six in the Leninskiy district, five in the Pervomayskiy district, and three in the Sverdlovskiy district.

On January 31, the Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of the Kyrgyz Republic, Nurdana Oruntaev, along with heads of relevant departments, familiarized themselves with the projects of social facilities and construction sites in the capital.

The Minister reviewed the project documentation and current construction works, giving instructions to the heads of departments. Currently, the first phase of construction work has begun.

It should be noted that in Bishkek, the number of students significantly exceeds the designed capacity of schools. In this regard, the Ministry of Construction has approved the project and estimate documents for 20 new educational institutions and has begun their implementation. Financing of social facilities is carried out from the republican budget.
