During the two-day raid, an assessment of the inspectors' work was carried out, resulting in the dismissal of two of their representatives for improper performance of their official duties.
Oruntaev urged the heads of control bodies to strengthen oversight of construction sites, focusing on compliance with legislation and increasing the accountability of employees. The minister specifically instructed to pay attention to the legitimacy of construction work, checking for the presence of necessary permits, as well as adherence to project standards and building codes.
In addition, the Ministry of Construction noted that on January 17 and 18, Oruntaev personally inspected several construction sites in Bishkek and instructed all inspectors across the country to intensify raids. Control checks will continue, including on weekends.
