The Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of the Kyrgyz Republic, Nurdana Oruntaev, conducted an inspection of several construction sites in Bishkek on January 17.
During the inspection at the residential complex located on Ankara Street and owned by the company LLC "Aalam Stroy," serious violations of construction legislation and technical safety standards were identified. Inspectors recorded discrepancies in more than ten blocks of this complex. It was established that the company had engaged private laboratories for some stages of construction, and instances of illegal transfer of blocks for use by shareholders were also discovered.
As a result of the inspection, fines were imposed on LLC "Aalam Stroy" for each of the affected blocks, relevant protocols were drawn up, and construction work at the site was suspended. The issue of suspending the company's license will be discussed at a commission. The minister also instructed to conduct a quality assessment of the construction with the involvement of specialists from the Republican Center for Certification in Construction, so that additional measures could be taken based on the obtained data.
Summarizing the inspection, Nurdana Oruntaev noted that strict measures would be applied to responsible employees of organizations under the ministry's jurisdiction.
