Nursultan Kenesbekov became the silver medalist in the 3000 meters, clocking a time of 7:55.06 on the second day of the competition. His compatriot Jusup Sulayman uulu took fifth place in the same distance with a result of 8:23.71.
In the preliminary rounds, Iskender Chokaev finished tenth in the 800 meters with a time of 1:56.83, while Ruslan Litovsky came in 14th in the 400 meters with a result of 49.57 seconds.
Thus, Kenesbekov achieved the best result for the Kyrgyzstan team at this championship, securing a silver medal for the country at the continental championship.
