At 42 years old, resident of Tyup Baktygul Mambetkazieva gave birth to a son after having eight daughters, reports Turmush correspondent.

She was born on March 20, 1983, in Kichi-Oryuktu (Kichi-Өrүktү) and continues to live in this village. She is a housewife and completed accounting courses in Bishkek.

Her husband, Elnur Sagibaev, was born on October 6, 1976, and has a degree in forestry, but is currently unemployed.

“We have been married since January 19, 2003, and we are raising nine children,” Baktygul said.

Our children:

Ayjamal — November 4, 2003,

Beremet — October 14, 2005,

Toktoayim — July 1, 2009,

Aysuna — September 2, 2014,

Khanbiike — October 29, 2016,

Jadyra — August 26, 2018,

Shakhrizada — January 5, 2021,

Uuldana — June 3, 2023,

Ertabyldy — January 26, 2026.

“Every delivery was difficult. But I believe that each child comes with their own purpose. I have overcome everything and am immensely grateful to the Almighty,” she noted.

Her son Ertabyldy was born on January 26, 2026, at the Karakol maternity hospital: “This is the third delivery conducted by cesarean section. Weight — 3 kg 800 grams. We were under the supervision of doctors, and the delivery went successfully.

Now we are fine, both the baby and I. My husband and I are hardworking and try to raise our children properly. There have been tough times, but thank God we have a home,” she added.

“In the Issyk-Kul region, as Kamchybek Tashievich said, assistance to large families was supposed to start on January 1. I am the first in Karakol to give birth to a ninth child; this has never happened before. We are also among the first in the Tyup district.

They said there would be cash payments, but our village in the Tyup district did not make the list of high-altitude zones. I don’t know why, as we live at the foot of the mountains. We don’t have permanent jobs, and we would like the government to provide some assistance because everything is very expensive.

We raise our children ourselves, trying to ensure they lack nothing. We are involved in milk separation and selling sour cream. We work day and night. Any support would be very helpful to us,” concluded B. Mambetkazieva.
