The director of the kindergarten from the Issyk-Ata district, Aizhamal Kurmanalieva, shared her memories of life in the jailoo and her path to success.

Aizhamal Ishenbekovna Kurmanakunova, a resident of the village named after A. Toktonaliev, began her life in the jailoo with her husband shortly after getting married.

She believes that her life resembles the plot of the film "Boz Salkyn," and with perseverance and a desire for knowledge, she managed to build a career in the field of education.

Kurmanakunova was born in 1982 in the village of Kara-Moynok in the Kochkor district of the Naryn region. Her parents were livestock breeders and, in the late 80s, remained living in the Chui region, taking care of the livestock. From a young age, Aizhamal helped her parents, which fueled her desire to obtain higher education. However, after her mother's death, her life changed, and she got married, deciding that she could combine family responsibilities with her studies.

Her husband, Kanybek, comes from a large family and is engaged in agriculture. "We live in harmony, and he always supports me," she says about her husband.

After the wedding, they began their life together in the jailoo, where Aizhamal took on the responsibilities of caring for the livestock. "It was a wonderful life that I had known since childhood," she says.

In 2005, they had a son, and in 2007, a daughter. Since then, Aizhamal stopped going up the mountains, while her husband continued to take care of the livestock with the help of his younger brothers.

At the age of 30, while working and studying, Aizhamal fulfilled her dream of higher education. In 2012, after the opening of the kindergarten, she began working there, which allowed her to combine work with her studies. In 2022, she was appointed the director of the "Epkin-Nur" kindergarten.

From the very first days of her work, she actively participates in competitions. "In my school years, I always participated in competitions," Aizhamal recalls her achievements, including first place in a dough cutting competition.

In the "Shayyr Jeñeler" competition, she demonstrated the lifestyle of a Kyrgyz bride, which was easy for her thanks to the experience she gained from her mother and grandmother.

Aizhamal dreams of creating a project that would teach young people traditional handicraft skills to preserve them for future generations. "National handicrafts are fading into the past," she emphasizes.

Her hobbies include knitting, reading, and caring for flowers, which she loves very much. "Despite the lack of free time, I always find joy in my hobbies," she adds.
