The athletes will participate in the WKF World Ranking Tournament, which will take place in Fujairah
According to information from the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Bishkek City Administration, students of the SDYUSHOR 'Olymp' are heading to the WKF karate-do international tournament. The competition will be held from February 11 to 16 in the emirate of Fujairah (UAE).
Before their departure, the director of the department, Kanybek Zholchubekov, held a meeting with the participants, wishing them good luck at the tournament.
It should be noted that this event is a world ranking tournament for youth, with athletes from more than 70 countries expected to participate, making it one of the most significant international starts.
The funding for the participation of Bishkek karatekas in this tournament is provided by the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, Tourism, and Youth Affairs of the capital's administration.
