Construction work on a 14-story residential building in Bishkek, located near secondary school No. 61, has been suspended. This was reported by the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of Kyrgyzstan.

According to the ministry, a complaint regarding the ongoing construction work at this site was received on February 14.

The Director of the Department of State Architectural and Construction Control, Ernazarbek Suerekulov, noted that work on this project had already been halted previously. The project creator was supposed to implement the conservation of the construction site to protect the object, construction materials, and equipment from possible damage during the suspension.

However, it has come to light that the company OsOO Action resumed pouring concrete, after which the ministry once again suspended construction and sealed the site.

It is noted that just four days ago, at the direction of the Minister of Construction Nurdana Oruntaev, work at this site had already been suspended.

Currently, the relevant authorities are conducting additional checks regarding the legality of the construction and the safety of children in the area.
