From February 13 to 15, Sweden will host the international women's wrestling tournament Klippen Lady Open, featuring three representatives from Kyrgyzstan. The competition will gather the strongest young athletes from around the world.
On the Swedish mats, the honor of the country will be defended by Asel Toktosun kyzy (up to 49 kg), Aydemi Asangazieva (up to 53 kg), and Ayana Asamalikova (up to 68 kg). The team is accompanied by the senior coach of the U-17 national team, Nursultan Askarbekov.
The Klippen Lady Open tournament has long established itself as an important platform for assessing the nearest reserves. For Kyrgyz wrestlers, this is not only an opportunity to win medals but also a significant stage in preparation for the upcoming continental championships. The coaching staff views participation in this tournament as an excellent chance for the athletes to gain experience in matches against representatives of European and world wrestling schools.
