The meeting was held at "Yntymak Ordo" under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov.
Members of the commission, representatives of government bodies, and deputy authorized representatives of the president in the regions participated in the event.
During the meeting, Edil Baisalov noted that the state's policy regarding historical memory should be consistent and based on scientific data.
"Responsibility and public consensus are necessary for naming and installing monuments," he added.
The commission reviewed 44 initiatives submitted by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture, the Bishkek City Hall, and the authorized representatives of the president in the regions.
Following the meeting, it was decided to name the following educational institutions:
- Chyngyz Aitmatov;
- Kasym Tynystanov;
- Iskhak Razzakov;
- Jusup Abdrakhmanov;
- Ishenaly Arabayev;
- Tugulbay Sydykbekov;
- Daiyra Asanova;
- Sooronbay Jusuyev;
- Sultan Ibraimov;
- Absamat Masaliev;
- Kurmandzhan Datka;
- Alymbek Datka.
The commission also supported several initiatives for the installation of monuments. Work on the systematization of proposals in the field of memory perpetuation will continue.
