These organizations seek to spread their ideas, which contradict the principles of a secular state and the legislation of Kyrgyzstan. Recruitment is primarily carried out through social networks.
Since the beginning of the year, the GKNB has initiated a series of informational and explanatory activities among university students.
“The main focus is on increasing the level of religious literacy, developing critical thinking when perceiving information, as well as strengthening traditional spiritual and moral values and interfaith harmony,” the official statement said.
