From February 16 to 22, 2026, according to preliminary data, the Main Department of Road Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic recorded 29,894 violations of traffic rules. Of the total number of violations:
- 3,170 cases for driving a vehicle without the necessary documents;
- 207 cases for driving under the influence of alcohol;
- 155 cases of illegal window tinting;
- 1,202 cases of traffic violations involving pedestrians;
- 4,326 violations of vehicle operation rules;
- 25 cases of auto hooliganism;
- 3,602 cases of exceeding the established speed limit;
- 5 instances of using counterfeit state registration numbers.
Additionally, 13,686 other traffic rule violations were identified, and 3,516 vehicles were placed in the impound lot.
The Main Department of Road Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic strongly urges both drivers and pedestrians to adhere to traffic rules.
