In the Chui region, in the Moscow district, a meat product fair was held. This information was announced by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.
The main goal of the event was to provide the local population with affordable food products. The fair was organized on the instruction of Bakyt Torobaev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.
At the fair, the price for beef and lamb was set at 650–700 soms per kilogram, which is significantly lower than the market price. This initiative aims to provide local residents with quality and affordable products, as well as to stabilize prices in the market.
Local farmers, livestock breeders, and processing enterprises participated in the event, allowing them to sell their products directly without intermediaries. This approach supports producers and makes prices more accessible for consumers.
