A fair day dedicated to food products took place in the Chui region. This information was presented by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the ministry's data, prices for food products at the event were lower than market prices. In particular, meat was sold at a price starting from 680 soms, potatoes at 37 soms, and onions at 16 soms.
It is also reported that similar fairs are held throughout the country, in every district. In some settlements, social trading points are opening with affordable prices for meat. The continuation of the fairs is planned until June.
The statement notes: "As of today, the stocks of socially significant food products are sufficient."
