The organizers reported that food fairs will be held in various regions of the country and in Bishkek until June 2026, where local producers, farmers, and artisans will be able to sell their goods. Currently, the republic is not experiencing a shortage of essential products, and the existing stocks are considered sufficient. The aim of such events is to ensure the domestic market and the availability of quality food products for the population.
Fairs in Bishkek are held every Saturday and Sunday. They are organized by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry in cooperation with the city administration. Residents of Bishkek have the opportunity to purchase food products at prices lower than market rates.
Food fair. The main task of the fairs is to curb price increases, ensure the availability of products for socially vulnerable groups of the population, support local producers, and maintain stability in the domestic market.
In Bishkek, the fairs will take place at the following addresses:
the square named after T. Usubaliev;
the corner of I. Razzakov and Abdumomunov streets;
Erkindik Boulevard (Pervomaisky District).
Participants in the fairs must meet certain requirements:
products must comply with sanitary and hygienic standards and be of high quality;
prices must be lower than market rates;
a confirmation letter from the district agricultural administration must be provided.
