On the eve of the New Year, an extraordinary event took place at the Ambulance Station in Bishkek. A truck arrived at the "103" building, overflowing with boxes and bags of vegetables, fruits, honey, and nuts. This was a gesture of gratitude from the participants of the republican farmers' fair, organized with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan, for those who continue to work at their posts on the festive night.

The farmers' fair took place from December 27 to 31 in the square in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building. Despite the rainy weather, it operated "until the last customer." Both farmers and processors were pleased: city residents actively purchased meat, delicacies, pickles, and fresh vegetables at wholesale prices. This year, the organizers, together with journalists from "Evening Bishkek," decided to send the collected products to those who save lives every day.

Iskak Anvarbekov, the curator of the fairs, noted that the idea to support medical workers did not arise spontaneously: "During the pandemic, we witnessed how doctors fought for people's lives in the most challenging times. When journalists suggested sending aid to the '103' doctors, we immediately agreed. It is important for them to know that their work is valued both on weekdays and holidays. We brought the best: apples from Batken, nuts from the Jalal-Abad region, Toktogul jam — all made with love." The Ministry of Agriculture actively promotes the cultivation of ecologically clean products, and fairs without intermediaries allow the population to obtain quality products at affordable prices.

The unloading of the "holiday cargo" took place in the rain. The organizing team, including Iskak Anvarbekov, hurried to set up tents and clear the square to deliver the gifts to the medical workers before midnight. Special equipment from "Tazalyk" helped clean the area, while volunteers rushed to the doctors so they could enjoy the surprise before the holiday. Despite the risk of being late for their own New Year's table, the organizers saw the task through to the end.

The medical workers who received the gifts were pleasantly surprised by the scale of the initiative. The deputy director of the Ambulance Station expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Agriculture, the fair participants, and the journalists. He noted that such social support helps foster respect and sensitivity towards the hard work of doctors in society. Moreover, in the future, medical workers plan to participate in upcoming fairs to teach residents the rules of providing first aid in emergency situations. Thanks to this initiative, the New Year's evening at the "ambulance" became warmer and more fulfilling.
