In Kyrgyzstan, the restrictions on the export of timber outside the EAEU have been extended for six months.

In accordance with the new decree, the government of Kyrgyzstan has decided to introduce a temporary ban on the export of timber and wood products outside the Eurasian Economic Union.

These measures will be in effect for the next six months.

The ban covers goods related to the following HS codes:

• 4401 - this includes fuel wood, wood chips, sawdust, briquettes, pallets, and other wood waste;

• 4403 - includes unprocessed wood materials, both with and without bark, as well as logs and poles;

• 4407 - this refers to wood materials that have been sawn or processed by planing, sanding, with a thickness of more than 6 mm, both unprocessed and processed.
