The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has presented a strategy for implementing the National Development Program of the country until 2030.

According to the new decree, the government intends to increase the coverage of mandatory health insurance to 85% of the population and achieve an average life expectancy of 75 years. The plans also include reducing maternal mortality to 22 cases per 100,000 live births.

In addition, the strategy aims to reduce child mortality to 14 cases per 1,000 children under the age of 5, as well as to decrease premature deaths from non-communicable diseases by 30%, such as cardiovascular diseases, cancer, diabetes, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

An important part of the plan is also to increase the population's access to disease prevention services, early intervention, and primary healthcare to a level of 70%.
