According to information from the ministry, the fairs will operate until June 2026, covering all regions, including the capital Bishkek. These events are aimed at selling socially significant goods.
The agency also noted that there is currently no shortage of basic food products in the country, and the stocks of goods are at a sufficient level. The main goal of the fairs is to ensure the domestic market and offer citizens products at prices lower than market rates. Special attention is given to supporting vulnerable groups of the population and local agricultural producers.
In Bishkek, the fairs are held in cooperation with the city mayor's office and take place every weekend at the following addresses:
Turdukan Usubaliev Square (intersection of I. Razzakov and Abdymomunov streets, Erkindik Boulevard); Microdistrict "Vostok-5"; 12th microdistrict.
Participants in the fairs must meet certain requirements: having a letter from the district agricultural management, complying with sanitary and hygienic standards, and setting prices below market rates.
