Agricultural fairs continue in Kyrgyzstan

In Bishkek and other regions of the country, fairs continue, which have become part of a broad program that started last year and is scheduled to run until June 2026. Every weekend in the capital, particularly on Saturdays and Sundays, these trade events take place.

The fairs are organized by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry in collaboration with the city administration. Their main goal is to support local producers, curb the rise in food prices, and ensure the availability of quality goods for socially vulnerable groups of the population. Organizers assure that there is no food shortage in the country, reserves are at a sufficient level, and the fairs help maintain stability in the domestic market.

In Bishkek, the fairs take place at three main locations: the T. Usubaliev Square, at the intersection of I. Razzakov and Abdymomunov streets, and on the Erkindik Boulevard in the Pervomaisky district. Participation in the fairs is allowed only for those producers whose products meet sanitary and hygienic requirements. Prices must also be lower than market prices, and a confirming letter from the district agricultural administration must be provided.

Citizens who wish to learn more about the schedule of the fairs or the conditions for participation can contact the following phone numbers: (0312) 66-14-22 and 0702 70 20 00.
