The event was organized by the district agricultural development management together with the Ayil Okmotu of Chon-Alai, Kashka-Suu, and Jekendi. At the fair, local residents could purchase meat products, vegetables, fruits, flour, vegetable oil, sugar, and other essential goods at affordable prices.
Local farmers and producers actively participated in the fair, giving them the opportunity to sell their products directly, without intermediaries. This facilitated the establishment of direct contacts between producers and buyers, as well as contributed to lowering prices for products for the population.
The main goal of the fair is to provide citizens with quality and safe food products, to help stabilize prices for essential food items, and to support the local market.
It is important to note that food security in the country is currently fully ensured. Stocks of socially significant products are at a sufficient level, and there is no food shortage in the country. The Ministry and other government bodies continuously monitor the market and take measures to ensure the population has the necessary products.
It is planned to continue holding such food fairs on a regular basis in all regions of the country to support the population.
