At a parliamentary meeting, Speaker Marlen Mamataliyev announced that the heads of two committees of the Jogorku Kenesh have decided to resign.
According to him, Bolotbek Borbiev, who headed the Committee on Judicial and Legal Issues, Law and Order, Combating Crime, and Counteracting Corruption, and Gulsunkhan Junushalieva, who led the Committee on Labor, Health, Women's Affairs, and Social Issues, did so voluntarily.
Now the deputies will need to elect new chairpersons for these committees.
