The Minister of Construction, Nurdin Oruntaev, familiarized himself with the process of constructing a new terminal at the international airport "Osh." It is reported that the total area of the new complex is 26,000 square meters and includes six separate blocks: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2.
Currently, the work on the monolithic structure is 95% complete, and the installation of engineering systems in the underground part of the building has reached 80%. This includes electrical supply, water supply, ventilation, sewage, and fire-fighting water supply systems. Work on the first floor has been temporarily suspended due to the need to make changes to the project and estimate documentation, the Ministry of Construction reports.
The Minister emphasized the importance of quality and timely completion of the construction, as well as the need for quick amendments to the documentation and increasing the pace of work by boosting the workforce. Currently, about 120 people are working on the site, but in the future, their number is planned to be doubled.
It is worth noting that construction work began on April 25, 2025.
