During the specified period, more than 4 million educational materials were printed
At a meeting of the committee on science, education, innovations, and information technologies, as well as culture, sports, and youth affairs of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Minister of Education Nadira Jusupekova reported that 856 million 548 thousand soms were allocated for the printing of educational books in 2025.
She noted that in 2020, only 120 million soms were allocated for textbook financing, whereas in 2025 this amount significantly increased.
If in 2020 more than 330 thousand textbooks were printed, in 2025 this figure reached 4 million 85 thousand 450 copies of educational materials.
The provision of textbooks in schools is 84.8 percent.
In addition, Jusupekova pointed out that from 2017 to 2024, more than 3 million textbooks were published, making the achievements of 2025 particularly significant.
In the context of discussing the prevention of violence in educational institutions, the deputy minister mentioned the need to update old methods. Previously, anonymous boxes for appeals were used in schools, but now this will be adapted to modern requirements.
“We have implemented a new application ‘Don’t be afraid, report’ in the ‘E-Kündölük’ system. To date, over 25 thousand appeals have been received. The main goal of the application is to prevent violence. Thanks to specific signals, a number of offenses have been prevented, and we have achieved positive results in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs,” she added.
