
According to the director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Seytek Jumakadyrov, there are about 100 citizens of the country residing in Iran, most of whom hold dual citizenship.
He also noted that among the Kyrgyz citizens in Iran, a significant proportion are women who have married local residents.
“At the moment, there have been no requests for evacuation. At the same time, 11 citizens are ready to leave. We are prepared to organize their return if necessary, and the consul maintains constant contact with them,” he added.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues to monitor the situation and maintains communication with Kyrgyz citizens located in Iran.
