Due to the illness of the judge, the Supreme Court has once again postponed the consideration of journalist Mahabat Tajibek kyzy's case. This information was shared by human rights activist Gulshaiyr Abdirasulova on her social media page.
The hearing was originally set for February 2, but it has now been moved to March 3.
“Today the trial has been postponed again. And Mahabat remains behind bars all this time...,” she noted.
It is worth reminding that the Supreme Court was supposed to begin proceedings in the case in connection with the findings of the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention, which identified human rights violations against Mahabat Tajibek kyzy.
