
At the tournament, which gathered the strongest weightlifters from around the world, Islam competed in the over 95 kg category in the "combined lift" discipline with 32 kg kettlebells. In the face of tough competition, he managed to demonstrate an outstanding result and take first place on the podium.
In addition to participating in the competition, Narynbekov also served as an international category referee, highlighting his high status in the sport of kettlebell lifting.
“I compete not only for personal achievements but also for my country. Every title is the result of strict discipline and immense responsibility to those who support me,” said the champion. He also expressed support for his brother Nurlan, emphasizing the importance of family support in overcoming challenges.
Islam Narynbekov, hailing from the village of At-Bashi, is one of the most renowned weightlifters in Kyrgyzstan. His sports career includes victories at the World Championship (2024), the USA Championship, and the Pan American Games (2025), as well as medals from Asian Championships and four titles of champion of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The Kettlebell Sports Federation of Kyrgyzstan noted that Narynbekov's latest victory on the international stage underscores the high level of training of the local weightlifting school and strengthens the country's position in the global sports community.
