At the international youth swimming competition known as the Asian Open Schools Invitational Championships Bangkok, Mongolian athletes won 71 medals.
11-year-old Margad Batzorih from the "We Aquatics" club not only broke his personal records but also won medals: one gold, one silver, and two bronze in individual races, as well as two silver and two bronze in relay competitions. Swimmers from the "Hangarid" club in Erdenet received one gold, four silver, and five bronze medals, while the "Aquanex" club won one gold and three bronze medals. Representatives of the Sports Training Center under the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of Selenge aimag were awarded two gold, two silver, and one bronze medal.
The "Gobi Swimmers" club from Govi-Sumber aimag performed successfully at the AOSI (LCM) or "Asian School Championship," winning 7 gold, 5 silver, and 14 bronze medals. The "Bella Vista" club added two gold, four silver, and one bronze medal to their collection, while the "Kings of Ocean" club gathered seven silver and bronze medals.



More than 1,100 athletes from 22 countries participated in this event, among which 69 swimmers represented Mongolia, competing in eight clubs. The main goal of the championship was to provide students from Asian countries with the opportunity to participate in international competitions, improve their sports skills, enhance team spirit, and promote cultural exchange. The competitions were held in various swimming styles, including breaststroke, freestyle, butterfly, freestyle relays, backstroke, and mixed team races.
