At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, a tense discussion erupted between deputies Mederbek Aliyev and Uluqbek Karybek uulu.
Aliyev, expressing gratitude to his colleagues for their support after his appointment as vice-speaker, noted that this position requires experience and patience, not "running around maternity hospitals." Many perceived these words as a hint at Karybek uulu.
In response, deputy Karybek uulu stated that some people mistakenly consider themselves "the smartest and most educated," while viewing others as "fools."
"It should be emphasized that some are confident in their superiority, forgetting that others also have the right to an opinion," he stressed.
According to him, society is well aware of who has contributed to the country's development. He also added that during his visits to maternity hospitals, he actively fought against corruption.
After their exchange of remarks, the speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh reminded the deputies of the importance of adhering to the norms of parliamentary ethics.
It is worth noting that recently there was also an exchange between deputies at a committee meeting regarding a bill proposed by Aliyev.
