Representatives from about 100 countries have been invited to the VI World Nomad Games (WNG). This was announced by Urmat Asanbaev, the director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, at a meeting of the committee on science, education, and other important areas of the Jogorku Kenesh.
According to him, more than 2800 athletes will participate in the competitions.
The program of the games includes 43 sports, which have already been approved.
The competitions will take place at four different venues in the Issyk-Kul region.
In particular, wrestling competitions are planned at the Gazprom sports complex, while national horse games will be held at the racetrack in Cholpon-Ata.
Additionally, sports events are planned at the Kychyn pasture, and intellectual games will take place at the Eurasia hotel.
It should be noted that the VI World Nomad Games will be held from August 31 to September 6 in Kyrgyzstan.
