A new campus of the Kyrgyz Russian Slavic University (KRSU) will be built in Bishkek
Sergey Volkov, the rector of the university, announced plans for construction on the outskirts of the capital. 30 hectares of land have been allocated for this project.
The project is currently undergoing the ratification process in the State Duma of Russia.
Kyrgyzstan needs to resolve issues related to land registration and the connection of necessary engineering communications. The financing of the construction will be covered by the Russian side.
The implementation of the project will take place in three phases: the first phase is scheduled for 2026–2028, the second from 2028 to 2030, and the third from 2030 to 2032.
