The official part is scheduled for March 21 and will begin at 11:00 AM.
"In anticipation of Nowruz, on March 20, we plan to organize the cooking of sümülek in two large cauldrons with the participation of employees from city institutions and enterprises. Guests from the capital, led by State Secretary Aslan Koichiev, as well as representatives from other regions, are also expected to attend," she noted.
On the day of the celebration, yurts will be set up in the square, a theatrical concert program will take place, and local residents and guests will be offered sümülek. Additionally, national games and a fair will be organized at the event, where products from both local producers and goods from other regions can be seen. In the evening at 6:00 PM, a gala concert featuring famous artists from the Kyrgyz stage is planned," Tashtanbekova added.
She also reported that approximately 2 million soms will be allocated from the city budget for the events this year.
