On March 21, various festive events dedicated to Nowruz will take place in Bishkek, as reported by the city's mayor's office.
In the Sverdlovsk district, the celebration will be held in the Karagach Grove from 12:00 to 16:00. Visitors can expect national yurts, concert performances by creative groups and diasporas, as well as sports competitions, master classes on traditional crafts, and a fair featuring national dishes.
In the Oktyabrsky district, the celebration program is planned at the "Yntymak-2" park. Participants will include students from the "Shayir Balalyk" Children's Creativity Center. Guests can look forward to national and sports games, including chess, tug-of-war, toguz korgool, darts, football, and volleyball. Master classes and an exhibition of works will also be organized for children and adults.
The Lenin district will offer its events at the "Gazprom - for Children" sports complex in the Archa-Beshik residential area, starting at 14:00. The program includes concerts, demonstrations of national traditions, an ethnovillage made of yurts, exhibitions, and master classes.
Additionally, in the "Ashar" park in the Ak-Orgo residential area, yurts will be set up from 15:00, along with an ethnic buffet, sports games, and a cultural program.
In the Pervomaisky district, the celebration will take place in the Ak-Bosogo residential area. Yurts are also planned to be set up here, along with folk games, demonstrations of traditional rituals, and a concert program. Guests will be treated to national dishes.
