According to a Turmush correspondent, the aim of this event was to emphasize the significance of the cultural heritage of the city of Osh and the Sulaiman-Too mountain. The organizers highlighted the region's key role as an important hub on the routes of the Great Silk Road, which has facilitated exchanges between civilizations for centuries.
A rich cultural and entertainment program was prepared for the residents and guests of the city. Visitors could enjoy unique products from local artisans, a variety of souvenir items, and dishes from the national cuisine. During the event, demonstrations of traditional sports and folk games took place, and information about plans and innovations for the upcoming tourist season was presented.
High-ranking officials from the region and the city, representatives of the Osh regional branch of the Assembly of the People of Kyrgyzstan, as well as diplomats from the consulates of Russia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan participated in the ceremony. Among the participants were also experts in the field of tourism, cultural figures, artisans, students, and tourists from abroad.
The musical arrangement for the event was provided by the teams of the Osh Regional Philharmonic named after R. Abdykadyrov and other creative groups from the city.
