The purchased equipment will contribute to improving the mobility of military units
Adylbek Kasymaliev, the head of the Cabinet, transferred 81 units of vehicles to the Ministry of Defense, acquired with budget funds.
This batch includes 36 Chevrolet Cobalt, 19 JAC T-6, 18 Gazelle vehicles, 5 passenger buses, and 3 JAC Sunray minibuses. Some of these vehicles were produced at the Kyrgyz plant "Tulpar Motors".
Kasymaliev emphasized that the renewal of the vehicle fleet will significantly enhance the mobility of the military and simplify the operational transportation of personnel. He also noted that funding for the Armed Forces has increased by more than 300% in recent years compared to 2018-2019. These funds are directed towards the modernization of equipment, armaments, as well as the development of infrastructure and logistical support.
In addition, electronic systems for document management and accounting of military personnel are being implemented in Kasymaliev's department. A pilot project has already been launched in five military enlistment offices, with plans for expansion to another 25. Work has also begun on the digitization of military ID cards.
Social support for military personnel is also a focus. Compensation for housing rent and mortgage payments has been increased, and through the State Mortgage Company, plans are in place to provide more than 900 apartments for military personnel in the near future.
